Angel of the North

The Angel of the North was built by Gormley to last 100 years. In the 25 years since it was built, the sculpture has become one of the best-known public artworks in Britain, an icon that people all over the country equate with the northeast.

This artwork is my tribute to this amazing sculpture and its artist. This landmark means so much to my family. Whenever we go to visit relatives in the northeast, we play "who can spot this first," and then we know we are nearly home. Magical.
